"To all associations established by families and specific groups struggling to find a solution to a particular problem, I would recommend, with regard to your ongoing public campaign, that you set very clear objectives, involve young people in your work and allow programs and projects to be developed".

From November 21 to 23, 2023, approximately 700 families of missing persons from around the world gathered to share their experiences and gain inspiration. During three days of multilingual sessions, the most critical challenges facing families around the world were addressed (how to make the problem visible and advocate for their needs, how to search for loved ones and the associated risks, and how to cope with the multifaceted needs that families face when a loved one disappears, including emotional support needs, but also financial, administrative and memorial needs).
