Professional Diploma in the field of Search of Missing Persons (Spanish language course)

Offered by The Human Rights Commission of Mexico City, The Institute of Legal Research of the UNAM and the Degree in Forensic Science from UNAM.

Objective:

The purpose of the course is to develop participants' knowledge of search processes in connection to local contexts and institutional capacities. The course has been designed to cover, through a transversal axis, the right of every person to be searched for, with a focus on human rights, as well as differential, intersectional and psychosocial approaches.  

Addressed to:

Public servants of the Commission for the Search of Persons of Mexico City and other local or federal agencies, as well as members of groups of relatives of disappeared victims, civil organizations and the population in general that develop activities related to the search for people.

Structure of the Diploma:

It is organized in four modules with a duration of 130 hours distributed in synchronous sessions remotely and individual work on aprendh-Remoto platform. Each module will last 30 hours and there will be a final practice of 10 hours. The synchronous sessions of each module will have the advice from a tutor specialized in the subject.
