The Latin American Association of Forensic Anthropology (ALAF) announced its first call to the XVII Latin American Congress of Forensic Anthropology: "Contributions of Forensic Anthropology to the reconstruction of historical memory and the clarification of new forms of disappearance" which will occur in Santa Marta, Colombia, from October 24 to 28, 2022.

The Congress aims to promote a quality scientific exchange between the different forensic disciplines and generate a learning space with the participation of international experts.

The congress will be aimed at professionals, students and the general public interested in forensic anthropology.
